ABSTRACT

This research is to describe and input concerning to the use of sea sand as an alternative of the use of small aggregate. On the layer of the rood. It used marshall test and determining the mix composition of the level of the optimum asphal and the presentage of the appropriate sea send for the Hot Rolled Sheet (HRS) mix. The result shows that the use of sea sand with salt countent of 6,96 %, Bulk Specific Grafity of 2,603, Saturated Surface Dry 2,695, Apparent Spesific Grafity 2,859, Absortion 3,420 etc, is visible to be applied for HRS.
